Is money the source of happiness or the root of evil? It is a quite controversial question and almost everyone holds a different opinion on it. There are many people hold a strong belief in that money is evil. In their point of view, all evil acts are related to money. For example, most people may had read the book God Father, Mafia is a group of gangsters who do illegal and unkind things all the time, and the gang named Corleone is one of them. By doing illegal deals such as earing protection fee, selling drugs and murdering people they have earned a huge amount of money. What’s more, they use the evil money they earn to bribe governors so that they not only have a lot of money but power. In this case we can see if a person earns money by any means necessary even though the means are illegal and evil. Then money becomes the root of evil. And there are many food companies in China whose only concern is earning money and don’t care about people’s health. We should admit the fact that the desire of earning money is the source of health-damaging foods like gutter oil, poisonous milk powder and so on. In this way, we can believe money is the root of evil.
