Abstract
Wecalculatethespectrumofexcitationsinstrong-couplinglatticeQCDinabackgroundof xedbaryondensity,atasubstantialfractionofthesaturationdensity.Weemployanext-nearest-neighborfermionformulationthatpossessestheSU(Nf)×SU(Nf)chiralsymmetryofthecon-tinuumtheory.We ndtwotypesofmasslessexcitations:typeIGoldstonebosonswithlineardispersionrelationsandtypeIIGoldstonebosonswithquadraticdispersionrelations.SomeofthetypeIbosonsoriginateastypeIIbosonsofthenearest-neighbortheory.Bosonsofeithertypecandevelopanisotropicdispersionrelations,dependingonthevalueofNfandthebaryondensity.PACSnumbers:11.15.Ha,11.15.Me,12.38.Mh
