Label Inspection Procedure

Review all labels in accordance to the reference sample and confirm that each one is in the correct location and has the correct text and that logos are the correct size.

IB Inspection Procedure

Review the IB and confirm that it is the correct issue and contains no obvious spelling errors

Operate unit in accordance to IB and record any deviations or inaccuracies in the operation or IB text

Review any special instruction sheets and confirm accuracy Review any order forms and confirm accuracy

Safety Testing Procedure

Conduct the following checks on selected sample from the batch.

For example if a batch consists of 1400 units and a 125 sample is selected. Then all 125 units are subjected to the test.

Test 1: Insulation Resistance

Measured >100Mohms between live and

body, with the switch ON. DC voltage applied 500V. (Pass range: 7Mohms to >100Mohms)

Test 2: Electric Strength

Between live plug pins and body, with the switch ON Applied voltage 4000V AC for 2 Secs. Overcurrent trip relay 5mA. Result, no breakdown or flashover

Record the results for each unit tested (Pass or Fail)

Record the calibration date on the machine(s) and equipment used and review the calibration certificate(s). Confirm and record these dates.

The equipment MUST be within calibration prior to commencing the tests.
