My Happy Family

My family is like a colorful garden with four lovely members. My father is an engineer who builds tall buildings. Every morning, he wakes up at 6:30 to make breakfast for us. His pancakes are shaped like little stars, and he always hides a chocolate coin in one of them for me to find. My mother is a teacher who teaches first graders. She often brings home handmade cards from her students, and we tape them on our fridge door to create a "smile wall." My little sister Lily is five years old. She loves wearing my mother’s high heels and pretending to be a princess. Last Sunday, she dressed up as Elsa from Frozen and sang "Let It Go" while I played the piano—even though I only know three chords!

Our favorite family activity is having a picnic in Green Park every Saturday. We take a red checkered blanket, a basket full of strawberries, and a frisbee. Last week, a cute golden retriever joined our game and stole Lily’s sandwich. Instead of crying, Lily laughed so hard that she fell on the grass. My father chased the dog, and the owner—a kind old lady—brought us fresh blueberries as an apology. These small, funny moments make our family so special.

My School Life Adventure

My school is called Sunshine Primary, and it has the most amazing playground with a rainbow slide and a treehouse library. Our classroom is Room 302 on the second floor, where we have a pet rabbit named Snowball. Every morning, I feed her carrots from my lunchbox. My best friend Tom sits next to me. He has curly brown hair and freckles, and he can burp the alphabet—though our teacher Ms. Lee says it’s not polite!
